“To all troubled hearts” – Nayana Nair

still-life-13

All I ever wanted,
was to reach out to heart like yours
and let you know
that I know how tiring life is,
how exhausted one becomes
trying to keep hope alive.
Everyone lives their life
as per their own capacity.
And I wanted you to know
that you have given best
to this life.
And you couldn’t have done a better job.
All I wanted was for my words
to reach troubled hearts
like yours, like mine.
Everyday
I write the reasons that I live for
on my wrist.
Everyday
I remind myself why I am here.
Remind yourself
why you are here.

hope

About Nayana Nair

Hi, I am Nayana Nair. I'm 25. Just a crazy girl who has tons of things to talk about....not much organized thoughts sadly. I like to talk about everything...mostly..every conversation of mine turns into a monologue.... So I decided I should start writing a blog..rather than chat.... I'm very much passionate about music, psychology and literature.... Moderate interest in science..... I always want to be a writer (and also a teacher)..But I don't think I have the skills required...this blog is just my attempt at becoming the writer I always wanted to be...Blogging for few years, I have realized I am more of a poet (although, I am not sure that I am good enough for that label)...I hope I realize more about myself through writing. Thanks for dropping by!! Hope I didn't disappoint. :)

  4. Beautiful Nayana. I have a gracious employee who keeps teaching me through her beautiful life that everyone is doing the best they know to do with what they have. What kindness! Thank you for reiterating that.

    • I guess we need more people in our lives like that. Orr rather become someone who can inspire people to become more caring and understanding.
