I don’t know what to say.
I hear your hurt.
I feel your words against my skin.
The words that have left your mouth,
left your heart,
stay suspended alone in the air.
All I can do is
to give them some space
on my hands to settle
and to rest.
Or else,
I am afraid they will be lost
just like you.

Hi,
I am Nayana Nair. I'm 28. Just a person who has tons of things to talk about....not much organized thoughts sadly.
I'm interested in all forms of storytelling (though I don't have the talent for it). So I like series, movies, novels, anime, and whatnot. I'm also really passionate about music, psychology, learning languages (I just dream big, too undisciplined to makes any actual progress) and literature. I am overall just a curious person who is interested in all kinds of things, as long as they suit my taste.
I always wanted to be a writer (and also a teacher)..But I don't think I have the skills required...this blog is just my attempt at becoming the writer I always wanted to be...Blogging for few years, I have realized I am more of a poet (although, I am not sure that I am good enough for that label)...I hope I realize more about myself through writing.
Thanks for dropping by!! Hope I didn't disappoint. :)

Beautiful
Thank you π Glad you liked it. π
What does mean by it rains in my heart ?
At that time when I made this blog I was listening to a song “nenjukkul peidhidum” , it is a Tamil song. I am not at all good in Tamil..but can understand a word or two…an the first line of the song according to me translated as “it rains in my heart”.
And also I love rain…it’s beautiful, sad and still a source of joy…so the idea of such feelings always coexisting in my heart…sounded pretty cool to me. π π
Quite interesting!
π
Beautiful. My hairs stood up. π

Very beautiful and touching Nayana π
Thank you π
I am glad you liked it π
You are most welcome π
Wow! This is powerful and poignant. Words carry so much weight and can be hurtful. Take it easy! ~Robin
Thank you π Glad you liked the poem.
(I was never good at “taking it easy”, though I try everyday π )
I’m sure it isn’t hard for most of us! I say it to help install it in my own brain! I work in an auto parts warehouse ten to eleven hours a day, no air conditioning just fans rotating in the summer months hot air around! (Never imagined doing this for the past nine years. . .) hugs xo ~Robin
Wow!!! Seems like a pretty tough job!!!
Respect!!
Thank you, Nayana! I like to share this so others may feel they can “carry on.” Also, explains big gaps in my comments. π
