As I drop one stone after other
into the murky waters
with dust that never settles.
I find sounds in the air, forming words
which were almost lost under the blankets of pain.
I do not try to find the one who
cried out these words.
I just add them to the stones
that are destined
to be overlooked, buried or drowned.
I throw the stones that must be thrown.
So that this dirt, that my heart
never settles.
So that these sorrows can find
a home and a reason
to grow old and die.

Hi,
I am Nayana Nair. I'm 28. Just a person who has tons of things to talk about....not much organized thoughts sadly.
I'm interested in all forms of storytelling (though I don't have the talent for it). So I like series, movies, novels, anime, and whatnot. I'm also really passionate about music, psychology, learning languages (I just dream big, too undisciplined to makes any actual progress) and literature. I am overall just a curious person who is interested in all kinds of things, as long as they suit my taste.
I always wanted to be a writer (and also a teacher)..But I don't think I have the skills required...this blog is just my attempt at becoming the writer I always wanted to be...Blogging for few years, I have realized I am more of a poet (although, I am not sure that I am good enough for that label)...I hope I realize more about myself through writing.
Thanks for dropping by!! Hope I didn't disappoint. :)

This was nicely written!
Thanks a lot 🙂
Welcome!
we all do this, dont we.
True 🙂
Reminds me of 13 reasons why!!! and collateral damage 😦
I have not yet seen “13 reasons why” 😦
I want to see it though.
(funny thing is that today at lunch a colleagues of mine just mentioned this series, that also with respect to my poem, she read one really old poem of mine…and was saying that it reminded her of “13 reasons why”. I think I should see it as soon as possible. 🙂 )
YES DEFINITELY. its….has a great message but i gotta warn u if u r a sensitive person or gets trigerred easily.
its sad but for me definitely worth watching
I’ll definitely watch it (I like movies that can move my heart)
yup!!!!! same have u watched atonement
He he..:) no dear I have not watched it 😦
I hate to disappoint you, but it is really rare that I will know of anything…may it be movies or series or books….anything. Only because what I normally see or read is just based on fate or convenience. I saw Schindler’s List just two years ago (and cried like a baby at the end) so imagine, that is the story of my life…too late to everything. I have no idea about most of the stuff. I am just telling this so that you won’t be disappointed by how many times I may answer “no I don’t know”…:(
I just google the movie. Will try to see it (If someone takes pity at me and download it for me 😦 )
How is it? You like it?
um….
well I FREAKING CRIED WATCHING IT!!!!!!!!!!
And thats a big deal btw.
the movie is based off of a novel
The name is atonemnet which means amendment, a compensation for doing somthing bad.
So this author writes a book, atonement and the book is an amendment for something that she did. Which ruined two peoples life. Its… heartbreaking.
The movie shows all if it. and well….its sad.
Also u can download it off of utorrent
