“Weekend Friend” – Nayana Nair

I tell my friends
that “i’ll probably die with loneliness.”
They smile and reply “me too”.
I wish I had told them “i love you” instead.

Wish people could understand the perils of loneliness!

    1. Nayana Nair says:

True. Though everyone suffers through this at some point in their lives but this loneliness only seems a huge burden to us when we suffers through it. Everyone is somehow supposed to get through this on their own. The normal thing to do is smile through everything as if everything is fine. Even if loneliness kills us all, we are expected to go on without showing how it is breaking us. It is sad. 😦

      1. Sifar says:

How well you have put it!! Most of the people are immune to what we are going through or consider it too trivial or expect us to survive through it happily as if it’s inconsequential!
