“The Flower“-Kim Chun-soo
We all long to be something.
You, to me, and I, to you,
long to become a gaze that won’t be forgotten.

“Small Door of a Dream“, Jacob Glatstein
Those trees whose names I never learned
Identify themselves at the window
With their proud blooming.
The night shadows itself
On a small joyous lamp.
A silvered butterfly dances
Into our flickering life
Through light of a dream’s
Last moment.
Our hearts too break not easily,
We are not made so brave;
There’s ever a fragment left, and we
Have still a heart to save.
Loved this poem! 🙂
I can feel my heart beating in my shoulder blades
from the weight I carry
human souls,
friends,
piled on my back like corpses.
I carry you with me.
I let your burdens clutch at my heart.
even when we don’t talk
you’re here with me.
I don’t know how to drop you.
“Religion- freedom- vengeance- what you will,
A word’s enough to raise mankind to kill.”
-Lord Byron
“The people of the world run about excitedly as if they
were going to miss the yearly, royal, sacrificial feast,
or as if they were going to be the last one
to climb a high tower on a beautiful spring day.
I alone remain quiet and indifferent.
Unoccupied by worldly cares,
I move forward to nowhere.”
-Lao Tzu
I have been recently watching ‘Guardian: The Lonely and Great God‘ aka ‘Goblin’. I have not finished watching it yet, but its really a heart-warming awesome serial. And among hundred of things that I loved about this serial, one of the thing is this poem: ‘Physics of Love’ by Kim In-Yook.
I hope you like it too. 🙂
“I kiss the pillow and
Stretch out my fingers to an unanswering hand;
Since this is all in life that the dark fates allow.”
-John Gould Fletcher, “The Blue Elegy“
“The saddest songs spin
and inspiration flows. What words
are born
when we give our self
permission to hurt. What freedom
when we stop blaming
ourselves
for our aching.”
-Tyler Knott Gregson
